• If your email is hosted by "The Computer Technology Corps Ltd" (CTC Solutions)
• You are using SSL (secure socket layer) for secure email download. This will be true for most of our corporate clients
• You get the following error when you open your email client (eg: Microsoft Outlook) and/or do a send/receive

To Resolve the Issue
At any stage if you have any trouble completing the following or need more information please feel free to contact us

1. Please close your email client (eg: Microsoft Outlook) and any open Internet Browser (eg: Internet Explorer) windows

2. Please click on the following link: The Computer Technology Corps Ltd Certificate Authority

3. On Clicking the link you will be asked if you would like to Open or Save the certficate via the following message

4. Please click "Open" on this message window

5. You will then see a message window titled "Certificate" with an option to "Install Certificate"

6. Now, please click on "Install Certificate"

7. You will then be taken through a "Certificate Import Wizard" which will help you install this certificate

8. When you see the window below click "Next" to begin the install

9. Now make sure "Automatically select the certficate store based on the type of certificate" is selected and click on "Next"

10. Now click "Finish" on the following window

11. You will now see a "Security Warning". As part of the security warning your will be given a Thumbprint. This should be the same as the one shown below and in the image below i.e

12. If the thumbprint matched click on "Yes"

13. You will now get a message saying "Import Successful" as shown below

If you still have the following message open simply click on "OK" to close the window

You have now successfully managed to install the certificate. Repopen your email client (eg: Micosoft Outlook) to make sure you can access your email now without any warnings.
