Graphic Design | CTC offers a range of options for graphic design, creating the templates that will be used for the "frontend" of your website:
- We design it to your specifications.
- We use designs provided by your graphic designers.
- Occasionally, we may use a third party graphic designer with specific skills, e.g. Flash.
- Custom-built templates purchased off the web.
We place great emphasis on the "look and feel" of your website. Navigation should be quick and easy and the same design criteria should be used throughout your site.
We follow what we call the "golden rule of website design" - visitors should be able to find what they are looking for within just two or three clicks of the mouse. Ideally, we would like to encourage visitors to perform one of your desired goals with just a couple of clicks, for example register to receive your newsletter or ask for a quotation.
But remember, graphic design on its own will not generate business for you. You need visitors, so the process is:
- You need to achieve a search engine ranking.
- The words that you have used for your link text and the words taken from your page content by Google need to encourage users to click through to your site.
- As soon as visitors arrive at your site, you need to be encouraging them to do what you want them to do, namely make an enquiry, sign up for a newsletter, download your eBook, ask for a quotation or make a purchase.
- You need to continue communicating with your visitors, who have now become your prospects or indeed your customers, to reinforce your marketing message.
With websites, customer care starts at the moment someone lands at your website. From that moment onwards, you need to be working towards the ultimate goal of persuading that person to become your customer. This process might take minutes, days, or even weeks.
