Pay-per-click Advertising | Visitors are the life-blood of your website. Without visitors, no one will see what you have to offer and your website will have been an expensive waste.
With a new site, it takes time for your pages to gain a high ranking. Whilst it is possible through the use of an XML sitemap to get your site indexed in the first month or two, most search engines will not allow you to gain a high ranking until at least six months have passed, possibly longer. Google calls this the "sandbox effect", a quality filter which prevents the search engine rankings from being turned into turmoil by a wealth of new sites being added.
This means that, particularly in the first few months after making your site live, you should not expect to receive a large amount of traffic from search engines.
What should you do? Advertise in Google.
CTC's approach
CTC specialises in pay-per-click advertising. We can either set up and run campaigns for you or train you to do this yourself. Remember, if you get this wrong, Google is the ultimate winner - pay-per-click advertising can be expensive and you want to see a return on your investment.
Google's pay-per-click programme is called Adwords. With Adwords, you set the daily budget you wish to spend and the maximum cost for a click through to your site. You specify the search phrases (keywords) that will cause your ad to be displayed and the advertising copy that will encourage users to click on your Ad.
